how to find it:

Once you've got out of King's Cross tube or train station, stand with your back to the main station entrance and turn left. Walk down that bit of Euston Road, then turn off left onto Caledonian Road. Driver is about 10 mins walk up on the left, after a bar called Ruby and immediately after a boarded up building.

picture of DriverAfter our first visit, just after the pub reopened, we predicted this place would get pretty popular and, sure enough, it has. We can't claim any prescient talents, though, for prophesying this - a place as pleasant, smart and welcoming in a grubby area like King's Cross would be bound to attract people anxious to escape from the miserable environs and in the last eighteen months or so, this has indeed happened. Apart from the increased clientele, the place is much as it was - a respectable array of beers, wines and spirits, accompanies a decent menu (including Sunday roast) and the service is fast and friendly. It's still a welcome oasis in a still up-and-coming area.
