picture of Bear and StaffA friendly enough pub on Charing Cross Road, which given its proximity to Leicester Square is seldom quiet. It fits the image for many visitors to London of what a pub is - real ales, traditional pub grub - yet also has a fair number of more regular punters. It's a touch above your usual West End pub - but just a touch.
