The designers have worked hard on this one. Not only a new duck egg blue exterior, but a mad interior - a mish mash of sofas and chairs, as if someone's made a collage out of back issues of Wallpaper. Oddly enough, it somehow works. Once you get it out of your head you're trapped in some kind of lounge furnishings version of 'The Crystal Maze', you can relax and enjoy some decent food and drink. Chelsea prices for sure, but the eager staff help add a friendly air to the place. This one's next door to the Chelsea Cinema, so don't be surprised to overhear earnest discussions of the latest art house films. Can't vouch for this one at night, but by day, it's pleasant enough.
