picture of The Worlds End Until a refit in late 2007, a visit here was almost enough to make you wish the world would end. But now, although the interior designers have hardly broken the mould for recent pub refurbishments, there are plenty of reasons to visit. The biggest change has been the revival of live music, with a regular night for bands on Thursdays and jazz on a Sunday night. It still caters for football fans with several TV's and a 10 foot projector screen, and being two minutes from Finsbury Park station is a decent stop-off on the way to the Emirates. Both ale and lager drinkers are well catered for, with Adnam's and Bombardier joined by regular guest choices, and Bitburger and Heineken also available. There is seating on all sides of the central bar, with the back area providing the most relaxed atmosphere. All in all a welcome improvement.
