From Tottenham Court Road: Take the Charing Cross exit and head down the road toward Cambridge Circus. It's about 5 minutes walk down on the right.From Leicester Square: Take the exit which comes out by the Hippodrome and turn left up the road toward Oxford Street. It's about 5 minutes up on the left.

picture of The Montagu PykeThis one's been upgraded to become one of Wetherspoon's Lloyd No. 1 bars. How have they achieved this transformation? They've whacked in some plasma screens. So pretty much the same place then, just the volume's been turned up a bit. It's gargantuan size means it's a handy enough meeting place before venturing elsewhere, though it's hardly one you'd want to spend a whole evening in. Usual Wetherspoon's aesthetic in place, though with the added thrill of a cheap disco when they start up with MTV on the screens.
