picture of Molly MoggsThere seems to be some debate on t'internet about this place. I think we can safely say that it's a largely gay pub. But it's not exclusively gay, and on our visits, the place has always been charm itself. The Molly Moggs offers a warm welcome with well-kept beers and chilled champagne in the fridge if you've had a good day. If you haven't had a good day, they've got milk in there for a nice cup of tea. They have a packed events programme - mostly involving sequins - and they've got things going on all across the week. Located right at the beginning of Old Compton Street, it's a tiny, cosy place. But be warned, the toilets are like visiting Alice in Wonderland: down the rabbit hole (i.e. stairs), the ceiling is very low, so mind your head if you've had more than a pint of their lovely Adnams.
