A rather handsome, but unfortunately, smallish pub in the heart of the City, en route to Fenchurch Street station. Unsurprisingly this pub's clientele is mostly the lunchtime and commuter crowd and, accordingly, is thronged at these times. It's not a bad place at all outside these times, the beer is pretty decent - plenty of real ales on the hand pumps - and the service is good - when you can get to the bar.
