how to find it:

Turn left out of the tube and head up Blackfriars Road back towards the bridge. You'll see the pub on your left after a few minutes.

picture of Paper MoonA decent enough place to drink, just south of the river from the City. It's yet another Victorian pub that's been stripped out, leaving only the wall decoration. A pretty average selection of booze is on offer and the main pub grub appears to be pizza, although other food is available. Real air-conditioning is a welcome feature on those hot, humid days.
