picture of Coopers ArmsA spacious, well-kept place offering the usual excellent range of Young's ales. The large windows bring plenty of light into the pub, giving it a refreshingly open feel. A relaxed atmosphere pervades the pub and with its ample seating and fires for a winter's day, this is a great place to nurse a drink or two with the Sunday papers. Popular with locals, especially towards the end of the weekend as a meeting place before going on to later things. The beer is Young's, the food is excellent and, especially for the area, even the prices aren't bad. Jolly good show.

Eating at the Coopers Arms ... we last ate here on 5/05/2006

Damn fine gastro-fayre, not at all pretentious and largely organic to boot.
