how to find it:

Leave Knightsbridge tube station turn left and walk down Brompton Road for about 5-10 minutes. After the road forks left at the Brompton Oratory, you'll shortly see the pub on your left. From South Kensington, turn left down Pelham Street, turn left at the junction with FulhamBrompton Road, walk a short distance and you'll see the pub on your right.

picture of Hour GlassThis pub is a lot smaller than it looks on the outside, it seems to be squeezed in a narrow triangular site and as a result has a lot of windows, but not a huge amount of floor space. Nevertheless, it's quite a pleasant place despite its prominent positioning on the busy Brompton Road. The clientele seems to be a little transient, seemingly in a hurry to be somewhere else. The beer is nothing out of the ordinary.
