how to find it:

Tottenham Court Road: Take the South Oxford Street exit and turn left out of the station. Stay on Oxford Street until you reach Berwick Street and turn left. It's a short way down on the left. Oxford Circus: leave the tube at the Oxford Street East exit and head towards Centre Point, Berwick Street is the 4th road on your right. Walk down a short way and you'll see the pub on your left.

picture of Blue PostsA lively pub at the top end of Berwick Street Market. The surrounding area with the market and shops is still a bit of old London (although changing fast) and this pub is just what most pubs in the area used to be like. There are a couple of real ales on the hand pumps and the rest is what you'd expect from a proper boozer. Most of the clientele are regulars, supplemented by the usual Friday and Saturday nighters. Enjoy it while it lasts.
