how to find it:
Knightsbridge: Take the Harrods exit from the station turn left down Brompton Road. The pub is just down the road on the left. If you take the Sloane Square/Harrods exit, turn left out of the station again and turn left down Brompton Road. Continue on past Harrods and the pub is further down the road on the left. South Kensington: Take the Thurloe Street exit and head up Exhibition Road toward the museums. Turn right into Thurloe Place and carry on until it joins Brompton Road. Head up Brompton Road (bear left on it) towards Harrods and the pub is straight ahead on the right.

This pub is excellent, architecturally. Most of the features are 19th century and the pub still retains vestiges of the public bar and snug. Nice. Upstairs restaurant, decent drink, bar food and unobtrusive music. The only thing wrong with it is that it's located in a heavily touristy area, resulting in a very transient clientele. Still, worth chancing a look at.
