how to find it:

From Chancery Lane station head towards Holborn Circus, turn left up Leather Lane (the pedestrianised bit) and walk up through the market until you come to the pub about halfway up on your right.

picture of Clock HouseA decent, well looked after, Greene King pub. All the old favourites are there, Abbot and IPA among them. Its proximity to Leather Lane Market means that it does a booming business when the market's on. At lunch times it's pretty packed, but in the evening it's a much more modest affair. Being mostly regular locals, as the trendies go off to their favourite bars in the area. The service is friendly and there's a games room upstairs with a pool table and a TV, and TVs are dotted around the place downstairs for the footy. A reasonable choice if you're in the area.
