picture of DevereuxWell off the beaten track in one of the quiet, quaint alleyways which are a feature of the Inns of Court, the Devereux is a pub enhanced by its atmospheric location. We've had our ups and downs in this one over the years, with the quality of service and fare on offer ranging from decent to terrible. Things seemed slightly more stable on our last visit, but with one downside: the pub was very, very quiet. Quite possibly this was down to it being the summer months, so we'll try and get back to this one when the lawyers are back from their holidays.
