picture of The ShipA nice looking boozer from around the '30s, it's a quiet, professional pub, serving its locals well. Obviously Young's fayre is on offer and when it's done well, as it is here, then that's OK with us. Busier in summer owing to the outside seating and its proximity to the river. It's been tidied up and the fresh paint fairly gleams. It's a good family local pub and one we're be happy to recommend.
