picture of The DignityThis one's been through a few changes in recent years, all having to answer the problem of how to make this shop conversion a desirable place to drink. The latest solution is in keeping with the standard gastro look. It's ten a penny nearer the middle of London but given this is an area not known for it's stylishness it's hardly passé. Also interesting to note the appearance of that Strawberry Fruli beer here - it's quickly becoming a standard in pubs of this ilk. A pleasant one for a daytime drink, the sight of the DJ decks (and a large amount of vinyl) in the corner suggests things get a bit livelier come nightfall. What with the similar remodelling down the road of the Catcher in the Rye, this little patch of Finchley can now be slowly lowered into the box marked 'trendy'. Well I never.
