how to find it:

From Bank: head up Cheapside towards St. Paul's, then turn right into King Street then Left into Trump Street and you should see it on your left. St. Paul's: walk down Cheapside towards bank, turn left into Wood Street, then right into Milk Street then right into Trump Street. You'll see the pub on your right. Mansion House: leave the tube via a Bow lane exit (a subway), walk up Bow Lane to Cheapside, cross the road and head into the alleyway in front of you. You should see the pub on your left.

picture of City TavernLocated in the centre of a square of Office blocks (so giving off the air of an estate pub in the City of London), this one goes for the olde worlde look upstairs and that of a sports bar downstairs. Nothing too dramatic in the food and drink on offer here, but it's a dependable sort of place all the same.
