Just off the impressive Manchester Square, The Devonshire Arms is a lovely little pub in a nice part of town. Authentic wood panelling, well kept beers, fresh flowers, and lovely service separate this from the usual. It naturally attracts the afterwork crowd but not uncomfortably so, especially as the pub is larger than it looks from the outside. More visits here, perhaps taking in some of the pies on offer (only served at lunchtimes) may well nudge this into four pint territory.
