picture of George and DragonAfter a hard day's slaying of mythical beasts there can't be any better way to relax than with a nice pint. The George & Dragon, within a stone's throw of Great Portland Street and Warren Street, is certainly a good spot to do so, especially if Greene King ales are your thing. Unfortunately some comfy chairs have been replaced by standard wooden seats within the last couple of years, but there's enough plants and ornaments adorning the sills of the large windows to add some character. The pub can fill up quickly due to its location and compact size, but is quieter outside the lunchtime or after work peak. Food is available from 12-4, with most options on the board priced at around 6 quid.
