picture of Lord NelsonA great local pub, it's got a pool table, sport on the big screen TV, quiz nights, darts and almost anything else you'd care to mention. They do a good range of food, the beer's decent and the staff are very friendly and helpful. This is one of the places that goes out of its way to make everyone welcome, putting events on for the regulars all the time. Children are welcome before 7:00pm and quiz nights are great fun and very popular. Showing how a local should be run, the Lord Nelson is definitely worth looking out for if you're in the area.
