From Warren Street: turn right out of the station and proceed down Tottenham Court Road to Howland Street and turn right again - it should be visible across the street to the left. picture of Carpenters ArmsFor a long time this was one of the many unremarkable pubs positioned around Tottenham Court Road - decent enough, but not one to set the pulses racing. Cue a makeover into one of M&B's unbranded pubs, and this one has perked up. There's now a plentiful supply of interesting drinks to choose from, a good menu and a roof terrace for the warmer (and drier) days. A popular watering hole for the creative types who work nearby, this one's certainly worth a look if you're in the area.
