picture of Out of the VaultsOnce called simply the 'Vaults', when they had to move premises in 2003 their new venue down the road became 'Out of the Vaults'. See what they did there? Anyhow, if you like real ale and live music this is a great place for an evening out in Leicester. It doesn't look much from the outside - a bit bland if anything - but it's considerably more cosy on the inside. We had a hard time choosing from the 12 ales available, but there's also a decent wine list. Staff and punters alike we're cheerful and the blues rock band who played on our Saturday night visit were pretty good, too. A fun, lively, loud and unpretentious - certainly one of the better in the area.
