picture of Shepherds TavernNot a bad little pub - built in 1735 and still going strong. Does food during the day and there is a separate dining room upstairs for a more comprehensive menu. The steak baguette is quite tasty, and the ale was equally good - a nice spot for a few afternoon pints if you are in the area. Quite a cosy atmosphere and not usually as crowded as other pubs in the area.
