how to find it:

From Wembley Central: Turn right out of the station and the pub is about ten minutes away on the left side of the road. From Wembley Park: Go down the hundreds of stairs toward the castle of sport, but bear right onto the road (Empire Way). Walk down the road past the Plaza Hotel until you reach the High Road, turn left and the pub is ahead on the left. From North Wembley: Turn right out of the station and then right into Llanover Road. Follow the road until it becomes St John's Road and carry on until it ends at the High Road. Turn left - the pub is about five minutes away on the left.

picture of The Greyhound This is a grand-looking pub from the outside, so we were expecting something rather different when we walked through the door. It's obviously seen better days on the inside, and could do with a bit of love and attention. No doubt the clientèle have helped determine the direction this pub's gone, as there's a distinct emphasis on shooters and extra-strength lager. This one suffers from the influx of fans heading for Wembley, no doubt, but it has to have a regular crowd to fill its echoing (well, it would be if not for the sticky carpet) interior. Part pool parlour, part slightly-grotty boozer, this one's a bit schizo and probably serves its regulars well - we're just not going to hurry back.
