sorry no picture of this pubAfter a visit to the Boleyn Ground the queues at Upton Park station could drive anyone to drink, and while fortune's always hiding a swift half can be handy for drowning sorrows too, or on better days toasting a win. The Duke of Edinburgh, a short walk past the tube station, attracts a large percentage of the post-match crowd and with plenty of staff behind the bar copes with ease. The bigger problem can be successfully carrying a round through the tightly wedged crowd and the subsequent struggle to find a spot to stand. From the claret and blue tiles in the toilets to the plethora of TV screens it is clear that the beautiful game dominates here and probably for non-football fans there would be little to recommend. We've seen the odd pocket of away fans, but be prepared to hear Bubbles on the jukebox half a dozen times.
