Its not exactly hard to find somewhere to drink in the area where Old Street meets the Kingsland Road, but nonetheless you'll find Prague is one of the better places to spend your time. Unprepossessing from the outside, the interior is a nice, if standardised, interpretation of Hoxton bohemia - exposed brickwork, artist's work on the wall, rickety old chairs and a few leather couches make up the basis of this candlelit bar. The special draw here however is undoubtedly the choice of lager. As the name implies, all the beers hail from the Czech Republic and along with 10 bottled varieties there's a handful on tap, too, including the excellent Budvar Dark; it would be even better if they kept a better eye on the stock levels though. There's also a good cocktail list and snack menu to be had throughout the day, from 8am. Thankfully it doesn't feel overly contrived here and clientele reflect that, as do the friendly staff.
