Crown & Anchor, Bromley  

This pub is tucked away in the back streets of Bromley North, on the same street as several other pubs which are all of a good standard. This one particularly stands out as it is a different style to its neighbours and we're glad it's been brave enough to take that route - it works. We remember when it was something very different to what it is now, and on our first recent visit we couldn't believe how much it has transformed. We've made many more since then, we liked it so much. It's a modern, very comfortable place with a conservatory extension area (useful as the main pub is very small). Good drinks and there is always a friendly, buzzy atmosphere about the place and there's always plenty of people flowing through creating it. There's nothing else like it on that street, and in fact, probably the whole of Bromley.
