sorry no picture of this pubIt would be easy to miss the Swan, being hidden away down a narrow side street, but enough Leedsites seem aware of its location to ensure the bar isn't struggling for customers by day or night. With Sofas, retro wallpaper and DJ's on the decks it might sound like a 1000 other venues, but the relaxed atmosphere and extensive selection of bottled beers help it stand out from the crowd. Ale drinkers are catered for and those looking for something stronger shouldn't be disappointed either. As the day progresses the older clientele tend to drift away, perhaps heading next door to the City Varieties Music Hall. Looking through its forthcoming events we saw a cornucopia of live music, comedy nights and Freddie Starr.
