Turn left out of the station and cross Riverside road, which will bring you to the entrance of the riverside complex. Walk for around 2mins and Squares will appear on your right.

A completely awful bar that is about as appealing as a flatulent camel. Leaving aside the complete absence of character and a drink selection so tiny you have to squint to see it, perhaps the most notable thing about Squares is the decrepit feeling that sits at odds with its full-blown attempt to be swanky. While shiny bars, fittings and glitzy seats infest the big two-floored interior, they all look rather faded and shabby, underlying the fact that after six years on the Norwich landscape Squares badly needs a refit. But even if the decorators did turn up there would have to be a serious change to the décor, over loud music, very drunk clientele and high prices before this bar overtook our gaseous camel in the popularity stakes.
