how to find it:
From either of the Catford stations, turn left and walk down the hill to the busy junction. Turn left again and walk down Rushey Green for ten minutes - you'll find the pub on the left.

This is a small, one-room pub packed, on our visit, with blokes watching footy and knocking back the booze in no uncertain manner. Fresh betting slips are plentiful too, if you fancy a flutter. Speckled Hen on tap was the highlight behind the bar and there are also a few wines on offer. The Plough & Harrow is a straightforward drinker that pulls the punters in, but it's more likely to be a fixture on a Catford crawl than a destination in itself.
