sorry no picture of this pubThe Ship is a worthwhile classic country pub, albeit it in a family-friendly kind of way. It's a good looking building, rather off the beaten track and inside has been sympathetically maintained in an olde worlde style. There's a good choice of beer and judging by the number of people present for Sunday lunch, people travel from far and wide to come here. Speaking of the Sunday lunch, the roast beef wasn't bad at all. The outstanding feature, however, is the pretty part grassed back garden, which boasts impressive elevated views over Freckleton Marsh and is somewhere you could easy spend a long Summer's afternoon. A friendly, relaxed pub and recommended.
