sorry no picture of this pubOld fashioned boozer beside Glasgow Queens street railway station? It's a lot better than you would expect. It's an authentic experience alright; pretty care worn and no refurbishment in the last half century or so. A wide range of whisky on the shelves, they served a mean pint of Guinness and offered us another at the appropriate point. So far so good. £1.50 a pint, as are all the beers. Even better. We popped in with a spare 10 minutes between trains early in the day, and there were just a few elderly chaps enjoying a leisurely pint and watching the box, but a quick look after work and the place was deservedly full with a fair few suits barely getting through the door. It might not be a favoured place for the ladies, but anyone who hankers after the real McCoy should take a peak.
