From Olympia: Head down Olympia Way down on to Hammersmith Road. Turn right, cross the road, and walk along Hammersmith Road before turning left down North End Road, from where you'll soon see the pub on your right.

sorry no picture of this pubSister pub to the Atlas (which is beside Earl's Court), the Cumberland Arms offers one of your best bets for a drink near to Olympia. Like its sibling, the Cumberland is a sensitive gastro conversion - an oxymoron to some, but here's a place that welcomes diners as much as drinkers. Sure, they're proud of their Mediterranean menu here, but the length and variety of the wine list and the decent quality of the beers is a balance not all foodie pubs strike. The service was also friendly and the overall feel of the place was one almost custom built for a leisurely lunch. A very pleasant pub, particularly given its location close to the rather characterless Hammersmith Road.
