The Two Doves, Petts Wood  

This little gem is Bromley's only Young's pub, and is relatively undiscovered being quite far out from the town centre (it's on the road that takes you from Bromley Common up to Biggin Hill). The clientele are a happy bunch of locals, the service is excellent and the staff always cope well even at busy times such as Sunday afternoons. Everything you can expect from a quality Young's pub is here including a good choice on the hand pumps and good wine. The menu is quite simple, sandwiches and toasties etc but does the job if you want a light pub meal. There is a very separate designated non-smoking conservatory area overlooking an attractive garden. A thoroughly pleasant atmosphere confirms a four-pint rating. Our only regret is that we didn't discover it sooner.
