What a decent pub this is. The clientele are a jolly and friendly crowd, and it's got good drink and food - after all it is a Shepherd Neame pub. It's in a quiet, leafy location with some outdoor seating and it's right in the centre of London. It's recently(ish) been sympathetically refurbished, not stripped out like so many pubs today (don't get us started), and it has a pretty nice atmosphere. It's very well done all round, we say and we're hoping it doesn't change - it's one of the reasons we keep going in. Just watch out for the nights when all the corporate sporty types are in. It's got the feel of a good local, and that's what keeps us coming back.
