picture of CelsiusBlending in with the kebab shops, newsagents and various small shops on the approach to Walthamstow Central, Celsius looks innocuous enough. Inside its a fairly small bar, with settees and leather cubes shrinking the long, thin space further. Still, the varied mix of people is something not always seen in Greater London bars. All colours and creeds were co-existing happily in an easy-going atmosphere, with many taking advantage of some of the cheapest food we've seen for a long time - nothing pushed the £4.50 mark. Perhaps more importantly, one of our companions assured us it tasted good, too. The weekends promise DJs and music nights as mixed as the clientele. On the week of our visit, R&B was on the cards for Friday and disco on Saturday, but we know indie nights have appeared here, too. E17 has a lack of good bars, so Celsius is recommended if you're in the area.
