Recently redecorated in a sort of loungey/catalogue sort of style, The George is a bit like a living room with a bar and tall stools in it. Décor notwithstanding, it's an average sort of place with a few decent beers on the hand pumps (although only IPA was available on our last visit). There's also a longish and pretty cheap (max £20) wine list and an extensive range of food. Predominately aimed at the offices a round here, this place is a handy refuelling stop before facing up to the rigours of Covent Garden.
