how to find it:

From Turnpike Lane tube, cross the road and turn right to walk up Westbury Avenue. Its a few minutes on the left. The four buses which pass it leave from the bus terminal behind the tube station. Its one stop, but a long one.

picture of WestburyAfter a few years in the doldrums, the Westbury has been given a bit of a sprucing up. It seems that these changes have given the place more life and a more varied bunch of punters, most of whom were enjoying the sunshine outside on our visit. Nothing noteworthy on tap, barring generic lagers, but this is a pub which serves the local population perfectly well.
