Trafik is seemingly blessed with a prominent location, situated on the apex where Old Street meets Curtain Road, making it very much in the centre of Hoxton. Despite this, it doesn't jump out at you, with both its entrances small and overshadowed by larger, brighter bars. Due to its long thin shape, there isn't a dramatic amount of seating, and what there is seems to be aimed at larger groups. This suits its purpose however, as much of the clientele seems to consist of just this. The interior doesn't exactly make an impression and the drinks range was rather uninspired, but the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, aided by pleasant staff and a down-to-earth bouncer. Ultimately Trafik is perfectly acceptable for a few beers, but beware that if you want some late night drinking, they often charge entrance fee later on.
