how to find it:

Leave Kew Gardens tube and head for the gardens. When you get to Kew Road and the gardens are opposite, turn right. When you get to the green, don't bear left with the road, cross over and carry on straight ahead for about 20 yards. The pub will be on the right.

picture of Coach and Horses HotelA large hotel pub close to Kew Gardens, this is a genial watering hole. Sport was on the TV when we were there on a Saturday afternoon sitting in a quiet corner reading the paper and doing the crossword. The genial staff and pleasantly rambunctious locals made it an amiable place to go post Gardens visit (or pre in this case)., with an open fire for chilly winters. It serves a nice pint (sometimes including Kew Brew) and pleasant surroundings - there even seems to be a kids section which made it for us.
