how to find it:

From Turnpike Lane tube you need to catch a bus. Out of the tube, find the bus stop on Turnpike Lane itself (opposite the Burger King) and either jump on the 144 bus for four or five stops. The is pub on your left just before you reach the junction on the eastern entrance to Alexandra Palace.

picture of The PrioryWe assume a pub not related to the famous (or infamous) celebrity rehab clinic, this is an unassuming pub on a small parade of shops, a short walk from Muswell Hill. Its a stripped out pine place, but with no pretentions like the Victoria Stakes over the road. There's pool and darts and other such blokey things in a pub which was fairly empty on our Sunday afternoon visit, but which looked as if things might pick up on weekend evenings. One of the locals.
