picture of FormAfter the pointless demolition of the Enfield Arms, Enfield Town could have languished in average pub limbo. However, Form has proven to be something different. Clearly looking towards Hoxton for inspiration, inside it's like a British 70's sci-fi vision of the future: minimalism, curves and brown Formica. The main room is too sparse, with literally no decoration, save for a terrific chandelier and the DJ hidden up in the rafters (playing some unexpectedly eclectic tunes). It's a shame, as they seem to have keen eye for striking art, demonstrated by a huge illuminated photo of a local decrepit tower block opposite the bar. They've also not adopted a 'no jeans/trainers policy' (a failing of many provincial bars) probably realising it's doesn't guarantee keeping out the troublemakers. With a great choice of Belgian beers, comedy nights and live music, despite it's failings, we couldn't help but quite like this place.
