Despite it's proximity to Shad Thames and Tower Bridge we have, up until now, managed to miss the Dean Swift off our reviewing roster. We've rectified that now though and are pleased to say that it's not a bad little pub overall. Presumably named after Jonathan Swift, satirist, essayist and Dean of St. Patrick's, Dublin, it's a subtly decorated pub with neutral colours along with black and white photo shots on the walls. It could be cold in here but ends up as modestly understated. Friendly service and a couple of ales make for a pleasant time here and they usually show the efforts from the Premiership's finest if that's your game. The Anchor Tap is the natural draw around these parts, but if you fancy a change of scene then you could do worse than sinking a couple of pints here.
