From the DLR, walk straight down Pier Road for a couple of minutes - you'll find the pub on your left. From North Woolwich station (or the ferry) head right down Pier Road and you'll see the pub on the corner of Albert Road.

picture of Royal StandardA run-down, shabby pub unworthy of your custom. On our visit, the clientele consisted of shouting locals and kids playing pool. There are no real ales behind the bar, though the service was polite and friendly. Must do better.
