picture of The LionAnother of the Irish pubs clustered around Archway tube. This one differs from most of them by having windows you can actually see out of. As such, nervous types looking for a pub to meet in in the area might well plump for this one. What's on offer? Well, a fair approximation of Irish pub decor and atmosphere, both faux and traditional. Cast your eye around and you'll see some Irish road signs, oil paintings of the auld country and a range of punters supping away on the (decent) Guinness. Given how busy the pub was when we last looked in, it's a style that's still popular in this part of town.
