picture of Anglesey ArmsThis is a quaint little pub in the back streets of Bromley. It's very recently undergone a refurbishment and we were worried that this would spoil it, but we have to say it hasn't. Whilst it's a touch on the new side at the moment, we were pleased to see that it has really just smartened itself up but kept its cosy and traditional décor. It's quite refreshing to visit an authentic local like this, there's really nothing special about it but it still charms. Although in this particular part of Bromley there is a little cluster of pubs within yards of each other, where it would seem that most people have chosen to go the others. There is a good range of bitters and the service is friendly, but the current lack of punters makes the atmosphere a little on the dull side. (Magic fm wasn't helping, either).
