With it's parent company systematically rebranding them, one by one, its time to say good-bye to another branch of the O'Neill's chain. As is usually the case, it's updated itself by appearing more traditional and individual, as well as moving slightly upmarket compared to its predecessor. Flock wallpaper and low lighting give a subtle retro feel and the overall effect is quite appealing. An excellent choice of ales and lager give other local pubs a run for their money, but the service is little more than perfunctory. As with most places in Shepherd Market, it's popular with the after work crowd - and not being the largest of places makes this even more apparent - but its still worth considering if you're meeting people in the area.
