how to find it:

Come out of the entrance to Camden Town tube that faces the World's End and NatWest bank (or walk round to it if it's locked, which it has been lately). Head for the bank and find an alleyway to the side - this is Greenland Place.

picture of Camden TupThe Camden Tup is a big, two-floored pub that has a Student Union feel to it and manages to be pleasing both to those looking for an alcopoppy pub and to those who want a pint of bitter and a sandwich. It does have its moments eg during Euro 2004, with everyone going nuts, and some fake(we guess) nuns were doing a promotion for something made of tequila, but that wasn't really an ordinary night. Generally, it's noisy at the obvious times and otherwise pretty relaxing. Upstairs can be hired for parties. It's a lot less scary - and less packed - than many Camden pubs, that's for sure.
