This place is not near a station so it's probably best to catch the 89 bus from Welling or Blackheath, or the 244 from Woolwich.

picture of BullThe Bull is a refreshingly old-fashioned pub which does the basics well. It's an old turn of the century Courage pub with a two-room bar, fires and hunting prints on the walls. Being located on busy Shooters Hill Road doesn't seem to bother this place; in fact, it's very handy if you want to visit Oxlea Woods or Severndroog Castle, and attracts a regular crowd of locals.
