From Catford BR or Catford Bridge BR, head left down Catford Road. Turn left down Thomas Lane and turn right down Winslade Way into the covered market area - the pub should be on your left.

picture of Catford RamThe giant fibreglass feline isn't the only surprise at the Catford Centre, what with this perfectly decent Young's pub hidden away behind an unassuming retail space exterior. Not unlike a Wetherspoon's in size and space, the dependable Young's beers raise this one (just) out of the average. The services of a large screen are called upon for the big matches, but the dicey picture quality probably explain why there didn't seem many takers for it on our last visit. Either that or the deceptively large interior was even bigger than we thought it was.
